Just a quick note for those of you who have been following up on my mum's progress. I'm pleased to say she's doing really well, all things considered. She's still in a bit of pain from the surgery, but that's to be expected. The docs are working on getting her on some better pain control, though. That way she'll be able to start doing her exercises again, and start working on getting her strength back. She's pretty zapped from the surgery, but she just needs time to let her body heal. The road to recovery may be a long one, but she's a trooper. Just gotta take things one day at a time.
Carla and I are heading back to the city in the afternoon after visiting my mum. The
myth box seems to have faired well while we've been away. I even managed to schedule a few recordings from here at my mum's. Very cool.
