Last in the boneyard series. This gravestone dates around the middle of the 19th century. The inscription appears to be in Latin (I think), although it's really hard to tell because it's so faded.
On a technical note, this entry marks the premiere of the Ground Glass B-List. The B-List is where you will find out-takes, extras, and pretty much anything I wanted to include but didn't see the need to devote a full entry to. Images are organized in to galleries, and each gallery is associated with a post on the main blog.
Not all posts will have an associated gallery though -- I'll only be adding b-list galleries when there are images associated with a post that don't quite warrant their own entry.
I put it all together with
MTEmbedImage,
SmartBody, and most importantly
Brandon Fuller's awesome
MTPhotoGallery Plugin. Not to mention a whole bunch of template meddling to bring it all together... I originally wanted to try and emulate the auto-gallery functionality in
Blogware and
Typepad, and I wanted to do it using only MT and available plugins. Although it's not quite as sophisticated as those, overall I think it works pretty much the way I want it to. It's automated enough to suit my needs, and allows feedback on the gallery level, if not on the individual shots.
Maybe I'll write up a full tutorial if the demand is there. Anyone interested?
